Controlled Quality System Web

All documentation of the Quality System for Kreis Tool exists in this electronic web. Any printed copy of this documentation should be regarded as "reference only." The electronic copy is the only controlled document. Interested parties must register to gain access to the Quality System documents.

A Copy of the Quality manual is available to Employees, Customers, Vendors, and Regulatory Agencies via the Organization internet Website address www.kreisquality.com.

Within this System policies, procedures and work instructions are cross linked to provide for a better understanding of how components support each other and international standards (AS 9100 Rev. B and ISO 9001:2008). Those links are highlighted.

This web based system has been designed to facilitate an environment of continuous improvement and change based on collaboration of all parties having ownership in the operation of the system. Because it is web based, ONLY authorized and responsible users can modify policy, procedures and work instructions within the guidelines set forth in the system. In addition, any registered user, comprised of employees, suppliers and customers, may comment on the system (QualitySystem/UserComments). Those comments become a reference only part of the system to be used to develop and improve quality documentation. For example, while a shop employee may not have authority and responsibility to maintain a given quality procedure, he/she may comment on that procedure with an objective of improving overall quality or clarifying a procedure or work instruction. All users of the system (Customers, Employees and Suppliers) can view the controlled system at any time via internet access. This easy reference to the entire system facilitates delivery of products which meet customer specifications.

The software used to operate the system is TWiki version TWiki-4.2.0, Tue, 22 Jan 2008, build 16278, Plugin API version 1.2. The software allows for automatic tracking of revision history and authors of all revisions. Any previous revision of any policy, procedure or work instruction can be viewed.
